Glendale Memorial Hospital Celebrates Heart Health Month with 24th Annual Kings & Queens of Hearts Event

Dignity Health - Glendale Memorial Hospital and Health Center celebrated the 24th Annual "Kings and Queens of Hearts" event on Valentine's Day this year. As part of American Heart Month, the Hospital host a special celebration in the Cardiac Fitness Center (CFC), which recognizes the commitment of its members who have been diagnosed with heart disease.

The special event included free health screenings, physician lectures, heart healthy food, and the presentation of the King and Queen of Hearts among a room full of nearly 100 guests. Glendale Memorial celebrates milestones in cardiac fitness for its heart patients just as one would celebrate a graduation, birth of a child, or marriage. Many of the patients whom frequent the CFC years after recovering from a cardiac event have found a special place in their heart for the CFC and the Glendale Memorial family.
