Your gift to Glendale Memorial Hospital supports our many high quality programs ensuring that all people have access to compassionate care.
Recently, the UniHealth Foundation awarded $601,296 for stroke care to be spent over a three year period to Glendale Memorial Hospital.
The purpose of the grant is to support the launch and sustainability of a transitional care program designed to prevent secondary stroke and facilitate quality of life. The program will be nurse-led and provide enhanced care coordination to stroke patients following discharge. Additionally, the program will offer culturally appropriate stoke prevention education to the community.
We are also delighted that the Foundation Board of Directors agreed to transfer more than 1.3 million dollars to fund 15 capital projects throughout the hospital. Stay tuned for regular updates.
