Each year more than 700,000 people experience a new or recurrent stroke, making stroke the number one cause of disability and the number three cause of death in the US. Learning more about prevention, causes and warning signs of stroke can greatly increase the chances of full recovery. Caregivers, stroke survivors, persons at risk for stroke, and health professionals are welcome. (Chinese interpreter at each class)

High blood pressure can increase your risk of heart attack, stroke, heart failure, and kidney failure. High blood pressure usually has no symptoms, so regular screenings should be an important part of your healthy living plan.
