We encourage in-person tours as you get to meet some of our compassionate staff and nurses. At the in-person tour, you can ask questions about prenatal care, birth plans, and delivery options. You will view our spacious, private birthing suites and dedicated private postpartum rooms, learn what to bring to the hospital, where to register for delivery and participate in a group question and answer session.
All tours are FREE and no registration is required. The Birthing Center tours are held on the first and third Sunday of every month and begin at 1:00, 2:00 and 3:00 p.m., in the Mercy Conference Room (diagonally across from Starbucks in the main lobby). For more information, call 602.406.3521. *No tours will occur when the Sunday falls on a holiday weekend, i.e., May 28, Memorial Day, July 2, Independence Day, or September 3, Labor Day weekend.
The Birthing Center Tour begins in the Mercy Conference Room (use the main lobby entrance) at St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center, 350 W Thomas Rd, Phoenix, AZ 85013.
Note: no childcare is provided, so we ask that only adults attend the tours.
Effective immediately, during the height of the flu season, children under the age of 12 will not be permitted to visit inside our hospitals and clinics. Thank you for your cooperation in protecting the health of our patients.
