Family Medicine Procedure Clinic

St. Joseph’s Family Medicine Center offers a procedure clinic weekly that is run by a faculty member and one senior resident from the Family Medicine Residency Program.

The faculty physician is present for the complete procedure and all aspects of patient care. We have specialized procedure rooms and an experienced nurse working with the team. We carry out a complete discussion with patients regarding their condition, treatment plan, when to follow up and after-care needs.

  • Newborn circumcision
  • Skin biopsy
  • Excision of skin mass/lesion
  • Cryotherapy
  • Wart destruction
  • Toenail removals
  • Laceration repairs
  • Endometrial biopsy
  • Colposcopy
  • Bartholin’s cyst management
  • Incision and drainage of abscesses
  • Joint injections
