St Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center Interstitial Lung Disease/Pulmonary Fibrosis Support Groups

Norton Thoracic Institute sponsors two support groups for those with Interstitial Lung Disease/Pulmonary Fibrosis.  These groups provide patients and their loved ones the opportunity to meet with other patients and caregivers to share experiences in their journey with the disease.

Topics often discussed include:

  • Patient and caregiver experiences, practical tips, and comradery.
  • Disease state education and information.
  • Treatments: Medications, supportive measures, research, and transplant.
  • Other topics of interest surrounding the care and management of the condition.

If you or a loved one has been diagnosed with interstitial lung disease or pulmonary fibrosis, the ILD/PF support group is here to provide you with up-to-date information, support, and connect you with others living with the disease.

The ILD/PF support groups are open to anyone who has the interstitial lung disease as well as their family and friends. The meetings are facilitated by designated support group leader and attended by clinical members of the Norton Thoracic Institute staff.
