As well as general well check and sick visits, we offer the following services:
Dr. Laurie Jones is a Pediatrician and Certified Lactation Consultant and can diagnose and treat breastfeeding problems in mothers and babies. Dr. Jones observes the breastfeeding and makes recommendations for both mother and baby to support sustained breastfeeding. There is ample time to provide hands-on support and education during the one-hour appointment.
St. Joseph's Pediatrics offers an Asthma Clinic twice a month to children needing specialized asthma care. In this clinic, children along with their caregivers are seen by an asthma counselor and a physician who specializes in asthma. Children are assessed and provided a treatment plan and an action plan to ensure medications are given as prescribed. The children and caregivers also learn when and how to treat an asthma flare-up. The asthma counselor administers spirometry testing, reviews asthma triggers, and demonstrates the use of medications.
