James C. Russell, MD, is a general and trauma surgeon at St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center. Dr. Russell is board certified by the American College of Surgeons in Surgery and Surgical Critical Care.
Dr. Russell's expertise includes advanced laparoscopic surgeries, trauma and critical care. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, instructor in Advanced Trauma Life Support and a member of American Society of General Surgeons.
Dr. Russell received his medical degree from McMaster University in Ontario, Canada. He completed his internship and general surgery residency at McMaster University and fellowship in critical care medicine at Maryland Institute for Emergency Medical Services.
