Tiffany Caster, MHA, Named Chief Operating Officer of Dignity Health’s Saint Francis Memorial Hospital and St. Mary’s Medical Center in San Francisco

SAN FRANCISCO (July 28, 2021) — Dignity Health is pleased to announce the appointment of Tiffany Caster, MHA, as the new Chief Operating Officer (“COO”) for Dignity Health’s Saint Francis Memorial Hospital and St. Mary’s Medical Center in San Francisco, effective July 12, 2021.

Tiffany Caster, MHACaster comes to Dignity Health with over a decade of strong operational experience, including her most recent role as the Assistant Administrator over Sutter Valley Hospitals, a 9-hospital region affiliated with Sutter Health. Previous to that, Caster served as the Assistant Administrator for Sutter Lakeport, and also served as the Director of Laboratory, EVS and Transportation for Sutter Roseville. Additionally, Caster completed a Sutter Health Administrative Fellowship in 2011. Along with her strong operational experience, Caster is well versed in process improvement.

In this role, Caster will be overseeing the majority of ancillary, support departments, service lines and clinics at both campuses, as well as overseeing radiation oncology at SFMH. Along with department oversight, she will also manage MD contracts and lead our process improvement efforts to create efficiencies and improve patient throughput.

Caster received her BA in Economics and Media Studies from Willamette University, and her MHA -- Hospital Administration from the University of Southern California.
