Practical Approaches to Caring

Posted in:
St. Joseph's Medical Center is offering a free class on Practical Approaches to Caring, taught by author and nurse, Kelley Giarmita, RN.

Attendees will be introduced to hands-on ways to support friends and loved ones who may be facing tough times. This class will also teach participants how to truly be there for others, and how to ask others to be there for them.

Kelley Giaramita, RN, will guide class participants toward a new attitude about both giving and receiving. With a background in teaching, health care, harp therapy, and compassionate communication, Kelley will use her book, Friends in DEEDS, as an outline for this class.

This free class takes place on Thursday, June 25 from 6-7:30 p.m. in the Auditorium at St. Joseph’s Medical Center. No registration is required.
