Our recently expanded 18-bed pediatrics unit offers a child-friendly environment with caring and experienced health care professionals who are specially certified in Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS). Our pediatric nurses work as a team with the physicians and parents to provide education and support, ensuring our smallest patients receive special care.
We encourage a parent to stay in the child's room during the night. For the safety of our young patients, we limit visitors to age 16 and older.
Being in the hospital can be scary for adults and kids alike. To help our little patients feel more comfortable, we've equipped our pediatrics unit with colorful, child-friendly decor, and games and toys for kids to use when they're feeling better. Parents can rest assured knowing their children are being cared for by highly qualified and compassionate pediatricians and staff.

Pediatric hospitalists are pediatric physicians who specialize in acute care of pediatric patients in the hospital. They provide 24/7 coverage of all infants, children and adolescents admitted to the hospital. They also collaborate closely with the primary care providers in the surrounding clinics.
