Final Days to Register for St. John’s 11th Annual VIRTUAL Breast Symposium

OXNARD, CA – October 26, 2020 – St. John’s Regional Medical Center (SJRMC) and St. John’s Pleasant Valley Hospital (SJPVH), members of Dignity Health Central Coast, urge community members to register now for the free and informative 11th Annual Breast Virtual Symposium. 

In recognition of breast cancer awareness month, the community is invited to attend this year’s Breast Health in a New Decade symposium. This event will be held on Saturday, October 31, 2020, from 10:00 a.m. - noon via Zoom. Registration is now limited for this FREE Zoom event. To save your spot, please call (805) 988-2641. Deadline to RSVP is October 30.

During this FREE virtual educational session, the Integrated Breast Center (IBC) specialists will discuss breast health and breast cancer topics such as nutrition, radiation therapy, treatment protocols, genetics, risk factors, imaging, breast reconstruction, and balancing life before, during, and after a diagnosis. Following the presentations, attendees will have the opportunity for online, real-time interaction with the panelists.

The IBC at St. John’s comprises a highly specialized multidisciplinary team: breast specialists, physicians, oncology nurses, and therapists, who provide integrated oncology care to the community.
