The safety of our visitors, patients, local communities, employees, and physicians remains our highest priority. We will continue to provide updates on this page with the latest information available.
Check your symptoms using a chat box on the Dignity Health National website. Click on the blue chat box in the bottom right corner, and get a referral to a local care center.
Before going to the hospital, contact your primary care physician for guidance. They may be able to direct you to a local testing site and help you avoid waiting in the emergency room.
We encourage you to consider virtual visits (via phone or video chat) instead of in-person visits, whether you have coronavirus symptoms or not. Meet with one of our doctors from anywhere, right on your device. Find a provider that offers video visits.
If you do need immediate care, please call ahead to your nearest emergency room before you arrive. They will be able to advise you of the local procedures and best way to be seen.
Our health care providers are in constant communication with local health officials on coronavirus testing. Some of our divisions are offering drive-thru testing services, or outpatient clinics for testing. Check with your health care provider for details.
A test is required in advance of any procedure scheduled in the hospital. Check with your physician’s office if you have questions. Learn more about how we are resuming services.
Additional information on testing is available through the CDC website.
In accordance with provisions in the CARES Act, the “cash” price for COVID-19 testing is available here. The actual price a patient may pay will likely be lower, as this price does not take into account insurance coverage or financial assistance a patient may be eligible for. Where testing is available at our own facilities it can typically be provided at a reduced cost. If in-house testing is not available, testing may be performed by an outside lab which sets the price for its test. These cash prices are only for the COVID-19 diagnostic testing itself and are not inclusive of the diagnosis and/or treatment of other medical conditions. Charges are continually reviewed and subject to change.
Schedule remote visits for same day appointments, well and sick care, and mild to moderate COVID-19 symptoms. Meet with one of our doctors from anywhere, right on your device.
If you have mild COVID-19 symptoms, please stay at home to protect yourself and others. Or try one of our free remote care options: use the symptom checker in the lower right corner on our website or schedule awith a doctor.
At this time, we are limiting hospital visitors to one visitor per day, per hospitalized patient, no visitors under the age of 14, and any visitors with signs or symptoms of respiratory illness may be asked to go home.
Coronavirus (COVID-19) is a respiratory illness that can spread from person to person. COVID-19 is now spreading in many parts of the United States. The virus can spread through close contact with someone who is already infected.
Patients with COVID-19 have mild to severe respiratory symptoms that can include fever, cough, and/or shortness of breath. Use our online symptoms checker by clicking the blue chat box in the lower right corner.
Certain behavior changes can help prevent the spread of coronavirus in our communities. Many states have implemented orders asking people to stay home and restricting large gatherings, and people are encouraged to practice “social distancing” by avoiding crowds and remaining 6 feet apart from each other while in public places.
Here are a few additional actions you can take to help prevent the spread of COVID-19:
To support our response to COVID-19 Dignity Health Solano Street Medical Clinic in Corning is now providing drive-thru testing. Testing is offered to anyone who is symptomatic, essential workers (including non-symptomatic) and any worker required to get testing before returning to work.
