Nurse’s Day Luncheon Symposium

Thank you for your interest in Nurse’s Day 2020. Unfortunately, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, our committee has made the difficult decision to cancel the symposium at this time. The health and safety of our attendees and the community is our top priority.

Per the CDC’s recommendations that suggest limiting social activity, including large groups and social distancing for the next several weeks, we are doing our due diligence and made the difficult decision to cancel the symposium that was scheduled for May 6th. Please plan to attend Nurse’s Day 2021 when the event will be back, and better than ever.

Thank you for your understanding, please reach out if you have any questions.

Nominate a Nurse

Join us for the 2020 Nurse’s Day Luncheon Symposium. We will celebrate nurses in the North State on Wednesday, May 6th from 11am – 2pm at the Red Lion Hotel in Redding. Hundreds of nurses have gathered and celebrated over the years and we look forward to continuing and growing this tradition!

Our Keynote speaker, Maria W. O’Rourke, RN, PhD, FAAN Change agent who led the legislative effort to rewrite the California Nursing Practice Act in 1974 which transformed the role of the RN in California as an equal professional partner on the inter-professional team will share on 2020 the Year of the Nurse- then and now we’ve come a long way!
