Getting ready to welcome a little one can lead to questions. At St. Elizabeth Community Hospital we can provide some of the answers.
This 6-week series of 2-hour classes helps prepare you and your partner for the labor and birth experience.
We cover topics from pregnancy to birth and postpartum with an emphasis on options for labor and delivery and coping strategies for pain management.
Please bring two pillows and a blanket to these classes, as it is customary to practice breathing exercises during class time.
St. Elizabeth also offers 2-week and 3-week childbirth classes.
This 2-day class helps prepare you and your partner for the labor and birth experience.
The class covers topics from pregnancy to birth and postpartum with an emphasis on options for labor & delivery and coping strategies for pain management.

Waterbirth is not available to all expecting mothers. Discuss this option with your physician and together, you will determine if 'diving in' is for you.
At this class St. Elizabeth's educators discuss the benefits of water birth, safety strategies, comfort measures, pain management and ways your partner can support you during the birth.
You must have attended a childbirth prep class prior or within 5 years.
All childbirth preparation classes are offered to St. Elizabeth Community Hospital patients only and space is limited.
