Sports medicine injuries occur in all age groups and can be experienced in activities ranging from working in the yard to competitive, organized team sports. Our sports medicine program has a team of specialists trained to evaluate and treat injuries and conditions of muscles, ligaments and tendons.
We believe that we are not defined by our sport but by the character we show when we are faced with physical and emotional challenges imposed by injury. That’s why at St. Elizabeth Community Hospital, we embrace a unique approach to meet the physical, psychological, and spiritual needs of each patient. We commit the expertise and resources of all team members to maximize the opportunity for a patient to return to athletic participation.
We understand the athlete's desire to get back in the game as quickly as possible. We support the active individual's motivation to stay in the game of life. That is why our team stands ready to deliver competent, compassionate care.
