Grass Valley: Heart Wellness Screening

The American Heart Association estimates that one in three people will suffer from cardiovascular disease in their lifetime. If you have high cholesterol, high blood pressure or a family history of heart disease, you may be at risk for a heart attack. Sierra Nevada Memorial Hospital’s Diagnostic Imaging Center offers a Heart Wellness Screening, which includes a cardiac CT calcium score, to help identify and understand your risk for coronary artery disease. Grass Valley: Lung Cancer Screening

Lung Cancer Screening is a low dose CT scan, helpful in detecting early stage and treatable lung cancer for those at high risk (those over age 50, with significant smoking history). This screening may be covered by insurance with physician referral.
