How to Apply

Application to the Internal Medicine residency Program must be made through the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP), utilizing Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS).

Application Requirements:

Personal Statement
Current CV
Dean’s letter from US graduates
ECFMG from international medical school graduates
- ECFMG Certification: required prior to application unless recommendations to honor the five ECFMG pathways are promoted again
Medical school transcripts
Letters of Recommendation - Total 3 letters, including at least 2 from Internal Medicine or subspecialty faculty
Graduation from an approved medical school determined by using the California Medical Board’s list of recognized schools
USMLE or COMLEX Level 1 and Step 2-CK/COMLEX Level 2-CE results.
