Image Gently. Image Wisely.

We are a leading participant in the “Image Gently” and “Image Wisely” campaigns with dose conscientious, patient type specific protocols, and sophisticated technology to reduce patient radiation dose.

Diagnostic Imaging

The Diagnostic Imaging Services department at Glendale Memorial Hospital is a full service Radiology Center accredited by the American College of Radiology (ACR). The department offers Picture Archive and Communication Systems (PACS) and integrated Voice Recognition (VR) transcription to support faster patient throughput, shorter patient wait times, and faster report turnaround times. Patient exam images and reports are available electronically in-house and for remote access by referring physicians 24/7, year-round.

Diagnostic Services

Computed Tomography (CT) – 128-slice helical CT scanners optimize quality and speed using true 3D reconstruction stations with advanced vascular and cardiac capabilities. High scan counts significantly reduce patient radiation dose and our dual automatic injectors significantly reduce potential for contrast-induced nephropathy (CIN).

Direct Digital Radiography (DDR) – High quality image capture results in shorter exam times, reduced radiation dose and instant availability of images and reports.

Interventional Radiology (IR) – Peripheral vascular imaging, CT, Ultrasound and Flouro-guided biopsies, pain management procedures including epidurals and nerve blocks, uterine fibroid embolization and more.

Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) – State-of-the-art 1.5 Tesla Z-Gradient MRI with a large center and short bore reduces claustrophobia and improves patient comfort and scan noise.

Nuclear Medicine (NM) – Our dual-head, high gradient scanner supports general and specialized bone and body imaging, advanced cardiac imaging and organ evaluations.

Ultrasonography (US) – Advanced equipment and specialized staff are available for general, OB, and peripheral vascular exams.
