Serving the Community
Since the day we opened our doors in 1910, Community Hospital of San Bernardino has been committed to making our local community a healthy one. Along with our sister hospital, St. Bernardine Medical Center, we quickly became an integral part of the local economy and began receiving local, statewide and national accolades for our healing environment.
Community Hospital is a full-service, not-for-profit community hospital with 343 beds, providing exceptional healthcare to San Bernardino. The hospital is a Dignity Health Member, the fifth largest health system in the nation.
We are proud to be an important part of our local economy and an award-winning employer, and we try to give back to those who support us through our Community Grants Program. Our award-winning hospital is home to a full range of services, including Baby & Family, Ear, Nose and Throat, and Behavioral Health for adults and adolescents, among others.

Mission Vision and Values
Since 1910, Community Hospital of San Bernardino has provided health care and educational services. Our family centered environment is a non-profit, 343-bed, full service hospital offering acute inpatient and outpatient care, obstetrics and pediatrics, home health, behavioral health services, emergency and neurological care for children and adults.
We believe strongly in helping the community become more educated when it comes to their health and well-being. Our Health Education Center, located at 1725 Western Avenue, offers a variety of health classes, events and resources for families.
On June 9, 2016, the California End of Life Option Act takes effect. It legally authorizes a physician to prescribe a lethal dose of a lethal medication so that a patient can end his or her life.
Founded in 1910, Community Hospital of San Bernardino is fully accredited by they Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO) and has been recognized as a Top Company to Work For in the Inland Empire. In our more than 100 years of health care service, we have grown into an extraordinary hospital, offering 343 beds to care for all those in need.
