Congratulations on the newest addition to your family and on your decision to breast-feed. It's one of the best decisions you can make for the health of your new baby, now and throughout his or her lifetime.
To help get the two of you started the right way and make breastfeeding a positive experience, Dignity Health’s Community Hospital of San Bernardino’s caring staff is here to help. We invite you to visit our Health Education Center to meet with one of our specially–trained lactation educators who can assist you with any questions, concerns or support you may need.
Our lactation staff is available:

By Appointment only
Babies are born to be breastfed. Learn normal newborn behavior and what to expect. We cover breastfeeding basics, strategies for success and how to avoid complications. This class is included in the Prepared Childbirth 2-week series or may be taken by itself.
The newborn portion of the class will give you the opportunity to practice diapering, bathing and dressing your newborn on life-like dolls. Infant safety and normal growth and development will also be discussed.
Participants must call to register.
