Visiting a patient? Stop by our cafeteria for breakfast, lunch, or dinner and spread good cheer with a gift from our gift shop.
An ATM is located next to the Reception Desk on the first floor.
The cafeteria is open everyday for:
Breakfast 7 am – 10 am
Lunch 11 am – 4:30 pm (hot food paused from 2 – 4:30 pm)
Dinner 4:30 pm – 7 pm
Vending machines are available 24 hours a day in the cafeteria on the first floor of the hospital.
The Chapel at California Hospital Medical Center is open to visitors and patients at all hours. It is located on the first floor of the building, on the Hope Street side. You can find it by following the hallway from the Main Lobby leading west.
Flowers may be brought in by visitors, delivered to the hospital, or delivered by the hospital’s Gift Shop to all patient care areas except the intensive care units. When bringing fresh-cut flowers, please bring a vase or container. Flowers will be delivered to patient rooms as they are received.
The Gift Shop is located on the first floor by the elevators. You may purchase flowers, cards, gifts, books, magazines, phone cards, clothing, and snacks. Orders can be placed at the Gift Shop and delivered to hospitalized patients by calling (213) 742-5490.

Right off of our main lobby is a patio space with foliage that you can relax in. Our Healing Garden is open to patients and guests alike.
Thanks to a generous donor, we have a baby grand piano in our main lobby. If you play the piano (professionally or as a hobby) and would like to share your talents with our patients and visitors, please contact the Volunteer Services Department at (213) 742-6045.
Wireless internet is available for our patients and guests. To obtain a Wi-Fi password, call our Hospital Operators at extension "0" from any hospital phone.
