  • Obstetrics Track

Sample Schedule

We offer a 4-week inpatient family medicine sub-internship to fourth year medical students in good standing at an accredited allopathic or osteopathic medical school. Students will care for full-spectrum family medicine patients on our inpatient service, including adult medicine, critical care, obstetric, and newborn patients. Students will also participate in our didactics during the rotation.

Sub-I rotations are offered March to October with the exception of the last week of July and the month of August to allow our new interns to be oriented. Space is limited. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis starting in January. Interested students should apply as early as possible during the application window.

If you are interested in applying or have questions regarding the family medicine sub-internship, please contact [email protected].

Salary and Benefits

Community-Based Partners

The Family Medicine Residency Program enjoys a strong affiliation with our community-based partners. On various rotations, residents spend time seeing patients at the Eisner Health Family Medical Center across the street from the hospital. Our community partners serve a largely indigent patient population, primarily Central American immigrants and help their own residents in models of health care for our inner-city communities.

Our community-partners include organizations like:

Eisner Health

Homeboy Industries

Hope Street Margolis Family Center
