To prepare you for the future of emergency medicine we enhance your skills training with the latest technology. Our training facilities feature brand new technology and we’re committed to keeping the tech up to date, so our residents are always on the leading edge of what’s next.
Our new on-site simulation lab is specific for resident training. Additionally, we have a newly developed auditorium and expanded teaching spaces for resident didactic education. Our resident lounge has computers that have UptoDate, and library access for research, as well as Cerner EHR to complete notes.
We encourage technology use, including apps and digital tech to augment learning. Residents will be provided with a laptop for their residency training. We use Cerner EHR with Dragon for voice-recognition dictation; we have UptoDate access on all computers. While you train, our staff is continuously learning, too.
You will cultivate and perfect your skills under the guidance of expert faculty in our fully equipped training centers: the Simulation Center and the Skills Lab.
