Sub-Internship at Our OB/GYN Residency Program: A Mentorship That Lasts a Lifetime.

Our OB/GYN Sub-Internship (Sub-I) may be just two weeks long, but the professional growth and mentorship it fosters continue for six months—and often well beyond. Under the dedicated guidance of our Program Director Dr Erum Azhar and Research Director Dr Abdul Waheed Sub-I students are immersed in clinical experiences and research opportunities that support their development as future leaders in obstetrics and gynecology. During and after their rotation, students receive one-on-one mentorship that supports academic writing, abstract development, and presentation preparation. Many go on to present at conferences and win awards, highlighting the caliber of work produced during their time with us.

These accomplishments reflect our program’s strong emphasis on academic scholarship and long-term mentorship. When you join our Sub-I, you’re stepping into a supportive environment that values your growth—clinically, professionally, and academically.
