Dignity Health is dedicated to delivering high-quality, affordable health care services in a compassionate environment that meets each patient’s physical, mental and spiritual needs. Upholding the core values of dignity, justice, stewardship, collaboration, and excellence, our healing philosophy serves not just our patients, but our staff, our communities, and our planet.
There are many ways that the community can help support our Dignity Health hospitals in our mission to provide exceptional care through medical education, services and research.
The Dignity Health Foundation East Valley raises funds for Chandler Regional and Mercy Gilbert Medical Centers as well as Dignity Health Urgent Care Centers. Donations are carefully put to good use to provide quality health care with human kindness for the Southeast Valley. We are grateful for the support of our neighbors and for the role we play in the health and well being of our community. And we like to show it. From our Community Grants program to the services we provide to the poor and underserved, we constantly strive to give back to the communities we serve.
St. Joseph’s has foundations dedicated to raising funds for the hospital: St. Joseph’s Foundation and Barrow Neurological Foundation. Donations in medical research, physician and nurse training, and innovative patient care enable us to push the boundaries of medicine and offer hope and healing to patients and their families.
Our volunteers play a very important part in our healing ministry, assisting our staff and providing that "personal touch" to our patients. Our volunteers enjoy working side by side with our staff, developing camaraderie with other volunteers, and having a sense of pride as they donate their time to help others.
