Preemies Celebrate First 4th of July in St. Joseph’s NyICU
PHOENIX (July, 4, 2025) – Dignity Health St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center’s nursery intensive care unit (NyICU) is helping its preemies celebrate their first 4th of July! The babies might still be too young to enjoy the fireworks, but that didn’t stop them from celebrating the holiday by dressing up. All of the outfits were generously donated by March of Dimes Arizona. The organization worked with St. Joseph’s NyICU staff to make sure the babies were decked out in the very best red, white, and blue outfits. Little acts of normalcy in the NyICU, like celebrating special holidays, are a huge morale booster for parents who are supporting their children day in and day out as they grow and gain strength.
