Colorectal Surgery

Robotic-assisted surgery allows our advanced trained surgeons to perform incredibly delicate and complicated procedures in a very confined space of the pelvis. These procedures allow the surgeon to treat diseases and cancers found in these narrow constraints, including rectal and anal cancers as well as diverticulitis.

Robotic surgery often allows the surgeon to keep more of the colon intake, reducing the need for a colostomy.  The changes made include much higher sexual function and bladder control preservation, greatly improving the patient’s quality of life.

Among the robotic assisted surgeries we perform are colon resections.
