David Klein, MD, MBA, Named President of Saint Francis Memorial Hospital
Dr. Klein has a strong reputation for dynamic planning, measurable organizational accomplishments, and mission-driven health care. He has had a proven track record of driving growth, physician relations, and quality care. He has overseen the construction and opening of new facilities, medical staff recruitment, successful implementation of Electronic Health Records systems, and fostered continuously high patient and employee satisfaction scores.

Dr. Klein joined Baylor in May of 2009 as the Chief Operating Officer and was named Interim President in 2012, and President in 2013. Baylor All Saints Medical Center is a 574-bed facility with approximately 2,400 employees and 1,300 medical staff. Prior to joining Baylor, Dr. Klein served as CEO of Cedar Park Regional Medical Center in Cedar Park, Texas, where his responsibilities included hospital quality and patient safety measures, medical staff and physician leadership development, and volume and revenue growth.
Dr. Klein practiced general surgery for 14 years before becoming a full-time hospital administrator. He holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Southern California, a medical degree from University of New Mexico, and a master's degree in business administration from University of California, Irvine.
