Be Active. Stay Active.
Our orthopedic specialists understand how injury and pain can affect your overall quality of life. We are here to help you get your life back.
We have two easy ways to make an appointment:
Baseline testing is typically performed before an individual participates in activity. Baseline testing is comprised of computerized assessments that measure reaction time, memory capacity, speed of mental processing, and executive functioning of the brain. Having an estimate of the individual's functioning prior to an injury helps the healthcare provider more accurately determine the extent of the injury and an appropriate treatment plan.
The Saint Francis Center for Sports Medicine in Walnut Creek is offering FREE baseline concussion screening during the months of July and August for youth athletes ages 12 and up.
