We want to help you maintain a heart-healthy lifestyle after you've had a heart attack and no longer require hospitalization. That’s why Mercy Medical Center has affiliated heart specialists available to help you continue on the path to better heart health in our cardiac rehabilitation center.

If you have one of the following diagnosis you may be a candidate to participate in cardiac rehab:
To be enrolled, you and your doctor must decide that Cardiac Rehab will benefit you. Your commitment to the program includes attending exercise classes about three times each week, for a duration of one to three months.
Present at each session are cardiac rehabilitation staff members including a Respiratory Care Practitioner, an RN with certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support, and a doctor is also available onsite as part of the program as needed. Your doctor will be regularly informed of your progress in the Cardiac Rehabilitation Program.
