Interview Process
Our Urology Residency Program will hold virtual interviews for the 2026-2027 cycle, taking into consideration the recommendations issued by the Society of Academic Urologists/ American Urological Association. This recommendation correlates with our program's goal to promote financial and demographic equity across applicants.
Interviews will be sent out on the universal date October 24th, 2025, in accordance with SAU-AUA Match policy.
If you are selected for an interview, our interview invitations will go out following the AUA/SAU date guidelines, utilizing ERAS email and scheduler. Detailed interview instructions will be sent through ERAS. Our interviews will occur on Fridays (Pacific Standard Time), November through December 2025. Throughout our interview process, you will meet our core faculty, residents, and adjacent faculty at off-site rotations.
We will be offering an in-person social event to interviewed applicants after we have submitted our rank list in December 2025. As per SAU-AUA Match Policy, social events will not affect your rank on our list in any way and are available to prospective applicants to learn more about our program before they submit their rank lists. This will be on December 19th, 2025. Our coordinator will send out more information to our interviewed candidates.
US medical graduates may contact their Dean’s Office or visit the ERAS website at www.aamc.org/eras for information.
IMGs wishing to enroll in ERAS need to contact the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG) at http://www.ecfmg.org for their application materials and eligibility requirements.
