Hello Humankindness Student Ambassador Program
Physical therapy helps restore function, improve mobility, relieve pain, and prevent or limit permanent physical disabilities of patients suffering from injuries or disease.
We offer Physical Therapy services to patients of all ages both in the hospital and in an outpatient setting. We help our patients improve their strength, range of motion, balance and coordination, posture, muscle performance, respiration, and motor function.
Physical Therapy Treatments
Physical therapy treatments may include the use of electrical stimulation, hot packs or cold compresses, and ultrasound to relieve pain and reduce swelling. We may also use traction or deep-tissue massage to relieve pain. Our physical therapists teach patients how to properly use crutches, prostheses, and wheelchairs and how to do exercises at home to expedite their recovery.
As treatment continues, physical therapists document the patient's progress, conduct periodic examinations, and modify treatments when necessary.
Call our Physical Therapy Department at 209.467.6365 to find out more about our services.
