Good News to Share: Dignity Health Central Coast Health Care Staff Receive Easter Lilies in Advance of Easter Sunday

Posted in:

CENTRAL COAST, CA – April 12, 2020 – Dignity Health Central Coast physicians, nurses, and employees received an early show of appreciation as they were treated to complimentary lilies in advance of Easter Sunday. Marian Regional Medical Center Hospital President and CEO Sue Andersen and French Hospital Medical Center President and CEO Alan Iftiniuk purchased the flowers to show gratitude to staff. The lilies were distributed at each of the campuses Friday for the amazing dedication of staff during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Continued generosity from the community has also been pouring in to the hospitals to recognize front-line staff, as well as the many ancillary departments that have worked diligently to support preparations for the COVID-19 surge.

“It feels so nice to be recognized for our hard work,” says Marian Regional Medical Center Nurse, Patrice. “We are trying to get through this situation, and it feels good to know our hospital and the community are standing behind us.”

The flowers were provided by Ocean Breeze Farms of Nipomo, who have continued to donate beautiful florals to the staff of Arroyo Grande Community Hosptial, French Hospital Medical Center, and Marian Regional Medical Center.
