The Dignity Health, Greater Sacramento Division, Office of CME offers educational opportunities for physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, pharmacists and other members of the healthcare team to improve their competence, skills/strategies and performance in service to excellence in patient care.
A variety of educational activities and learning methods are offered based upon setting, identified needs, desired results and learning styles of the target audience. Some of the learning strategies include workshops, podcasts, "just in time", micro-learning, performance improvement/maintenance of certification, internet based, regularly scheduled series, symposiums and live activities.
Courses are developed and facilitated by local experts in collaboration with the CME team. To keep up with the changing healthcare landscape, our program is evolving into one that lays the foundation for lifelong learning of the healthcare team and commitment to performance improvement.

New Virtual CME Opportunities | Health-e Bites
Dignity Health’s Continuing Medical Education Department is excited to announce a new and exciting format in CME! Join us virtually, to experience engaging learning opportunities on the latest updates in a wide variety of medical topics with our Health-e Bites virtual education series. Come prepared to interact with the experts in the field and with your colleagues. Our plan is to offer these virtual educational opportunities monthly, as topics and faculty present themselves to improve performance of the GSD medical staff and/or improve patient outcomes.
This is a test of change for us here in the Office of CME and while our goal is to build this as a monthly event, we are not quite there yet so please watch your e-mails for our weekly newsletter to register for events as they are scheduled
