What to Expect

Before you go to a cardiologist for the first time there are things you can do in advance that will help you make the most of the appointment.

  • Write down a personal health history and a health history of your family
  • Gather any recent test results as well as a list of medications you are taking
  • Write down notes about any symptoms you have been experiencing or anything that seems out of the norm for you
  • Make a list of questions you want to ask your doctor
