The world is hugged by the faithful arms of volunteers. ~Terri Guillemets
Volunteering is a labor of love. Whether delivering flowers, assisting visitors, or helping patients it is a service from the heart.
Volunteers are an integral part of the staff at Mercy General Hospital. Our volunteers include teens, college students, working adults, and retirees. The purpose of serving is to extend extra non-clinical care and compassion to all people who enter our doors.
Many volunteers serve 3 to 4-hour shifts once a week; others serve more often. Volunteer assignments depend on areas of interest and availability. Please view the information in the Volunteer Information booklet for the volunteer service descriptions. To start your journey in volunteerism at Mercy General you can follow the link to the Mercy General Hospital Volunteer Application.
