Pediatric Ear, Nose and Throat Surgery

Community Hospital of San Bernardino's Ear, Nose and Throat Outpatient Surgery Center is well prepared to meet the special needs of children.

Physicians are equipped with smaller instruments sized to treat their young patients.

Children as young as age two can be treated for nearly all types of ear, nose and throat health conditions on an outpatient basis. The most common procedures performed on children of all ages are tonsillectomies, adenoidectomies and other airway issues, but they are also susceptible to chronic nasal and sinus conditions, voice box issues and more.

Our surgical nursing team takes a family-centered approach to care, closely communicating with parents and children from the moment they walk through the door and checking in with them after they've left the hospital. Children receive the time and attention they need to understand the procedure on their own level, and parents and children get the support they need to feel confident about the caring and skill of the staff.
