Chandler Regional opened in 1961 as a small community hospital and has grown into a robust medical center which includes a Level I Trauma Center and offers a variety of other health care services including acute through tertiary and quaternary level care.

General surgery residents have year 1 and year 3 rotations at one of the nation’s largest pediatric health systems. The system has provided world-class inpatient, outpatient, trauma, emergency and urgent care to children and families for more than 35 years.
General surgery residents have year 2 rotations at this nationally recognized treatment center - which offers specialized care to more than 1,000 inpatients; 2,500 emergency patients, and 5000 patients each year from the Southwest region of the United States.
