Core Conference Series and Internal Medicine Grand Rounds Dates Set

After polling our subspecialty directors and core internal medicine faculty and taking account work-life balance issues, we decided to start with the Core Conference Series to be on Tuesday afternoons from 1-4 pm when the Internal Medicine residents arrive. This series replaces the traditional daily didactic noon conference series. ACGME Site Visit Date Set

The Dignity East Valley Internal Medicine Residency Program will be having its initial accreditation site visit on January 19, 2022. Due to COVID-19 travel restrictions, the site visit will be done remotely through Zoom. The site visit will be meeting with hospital CEO Mark Slyter, DIO/CMO Dr. Roger Bies, Chair of Internal Medicine Dr. Michael Zgoda, Program Director Dr. Allan Markus, Associate Program Director Dr. Bruce Bethancourt, and Acting Program Coordinator Jennifer Urias.
