Our home base, where the majority of residency training takes place, is the St. Joseph’s Medical Center, one of the largest hospitals in the Dignity Health network. Located in Stockton, California. It is nationally recognized as a quality leader and is considered the largest hospital in San Joaquin County. It provides the latest treatment options, technology, and expert physicians, and it is the main referral center for cardiac surgery, cardiology, and high-risk obstetrics patients.


Mercy San Juan Medical Center

Rotation in advanced Neuroanesthesia completed at San Juan Mercy Hospital. It is a comprehensive stroke center and serves as the regional referral center for cardiothoracic, orthopedic surgery, neurology, and neurosurgery. With the volume, variety, and scope of clinical experience available, this rotation warrants that residents will obtain superior exposure to all components of Neuroanesthesia


Shriners Hospitals for Children — Northern California

Shriners Hospitals for Children provides the highest quality care to children with neuro-musculoskeletal conditions, burn injuries, and congenital conditions. It is nationally ranked in 2 pediatric specialties on U.S. News & World Report 2020-21, which include Pediatric Urology and Pediatric Orthopedics.


San Joaquin General Hospital

San Joaquin General Hospital, originally established in 1857, is a general acute care facility providing a full range of inpatient services including General Medical/Surgical Care, High-Risk Obstetrics and Neonatal Intensive Care, Pediatrics and Intensive Care. In addition to the 196-bed hospital, the medical campus includes multiple facilities dedicated to comprehensive outpatient services including Primary Care and Specialty Clinics. The Hospital's Ambulatory Care sites, including offices located at French Camp and Stockton provide over 1,340,000 outpatient clinic visits a year.
