Dr. Stephanie Slagle

Pediatric Hospitalist

Dr. Stephanie Kathleen Slagle, MD, MPH, MS, is a board-certified pediatrician and experienced hospitalist. She has nearly two decades of clinical expertise spanning inpatient pediatric care, academic leadership and quality improvement.

Dr. Slagel completed her pediatric residency at the University of South Florida. She has served as an Assistant Professor and Pediatric Hospitalist at institutions including LeBonheur Children’s Hospital, Golisano Children’s Hospital and the University of Florida where she was Interim Associate Pediatric Residency Program Director.

Her leadership experience includes implementing pediatric early warning systems, chairing inpatient performance committees, and spearheading multidisciplinary quality initiatives to enhance patient safety and outcomes. Dr. Slagle is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and a contributor to the AAP Textbook of Pediatric Care.

Outside of the hospital, she enjoys traveling, boating, fishing with her husband, and cheering on her favorite soccer team Chelsea.
