Why this program: I liked this program because it has a strong commitment to its community. From speaking with faculty and talking with residents it became very clear early on that my education would be very broad, well rounded and that there would be many unique opportunities offered through this program. I also liked this program because of the geographic location as I love the outdoors and Redding has access to some of the most spectacular nature you can find.
Interests within Family Medicine: Preventative medicine and management of chronic diseases.

Hobbies and Outside Interests: Spending time with my wife and doing the following: hiking, snow skiing, water skiing, surfing, kayaking, basketball, volleyball, cooking and playing board games.
