At Dignity Health, we share your excitement as you prepare for one of life's greatest adventures - having a baby. As part of Dignity Health's commitment to family centered maternity care, we are pleased to offer a variety of classes taught by experienced instructors. We encourage you to register early as classes and tours are generally filled far in advance of starting dates Those registering by their fifth month of pregnancy are likely to have a wider variety of classes and dates from which to choose.

This series of classes helps prepare women and their partners for the experience of labor and birth. Class topics include the birth process, medical procedures, labor
support such as relaxation and breathing techniques, and postpartum
adjustments. $75 per couple.
Learn about newborn care; including feeding, dressing and comforting. A bath demonstration is also included. $30 per couple.
Learn about breastfeeding advantages, techniques, family adjustments and dealing with common difficulties and concerns. $30 per couple.
Take a tour of the labor and birth rooms, and postpartum unit at the Dignity Health hospital where you will be giving birth. Stork Tours are free to expectant parents.
Designed for those who would like more information regarding the use of regional anesthesia for pain relief during labor and the anesthesia options available for Cesarean birth. There is no charge for this class.
This ongoing group can help new mothers learn about themselves, their new roles and coping with the changes and challenges new mothers experience. Group meets Wednesdays from 10 to 11:30 a.m. at Mercy Hospital of Folsom-Willow Creek Office building. All new moms are welcome. There is no charge to participate.
Pre-registration and pre-payment are required for classes, and pre-registration is required for tours.
