Meet Our Team


Our multispecialty team includes the following staff to support patients in their care: Administrative Coordinator, Outreach Education Coordinator, Physical Therapist, Recreation Therapist and Social Worker.


Director
John A. Schafer MD, Multiple Sclerosis Achievement Center

Brian has been working in the field of multiple sclerosis since 1992 and joined the Dignity Health MSAC in October 2013 to launch the program in February 2014. As Director, Brian oversees program development, staffing, and administration. Prior to this, Brian served as a medical science liaison for Acorda Therapeutics, CEO of The Heuga Center for Multiple Sclerosis (currently CAN DO MS), and as staff physical therapist for the Rocky Mountain Multiple Sclerosis Center in Englewood, CO.  Brian’s volunteer service has included serving on the executive committee of the Board of Governors for the Consortium of MS Centers (including board president), on the National Multiple Sclerosis Society Clinical Advisory Committee, and as a clinical consultant for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. Brian is licensed as a physical therapist in California and is an MS certified specialist.

Program Manager

Tiffany graduated from California State University, Sacramento in 2003 with a Masters of Social Work. At that time, she began working in the field of neurology in home and community-based rehab programs. Tiffany joined the Dignity Health MSAC as the Program Manager in November 2014. She is responsible for the development of program curriculum and facilitation of activities and education to promote cognitive, physical, social, and emotional wellness for people living with multiple sclerosis and their support partners.

Tiffany graduated from California State University, Sacramento in 2003 with a Masters of Social Work. At that time, she began working in the field of neurology in home and community-based rehab programs. Tiffany joined the Dignity Health MSAC as the Program Manager in November 2014. She is responsible for the development of program curriculum and facilitation of activities and education to promote cognitive, physical, social, and emotional wellness for people living with multiple sclerosis and their support partners.
