Northridge Hospital Medical Center Appoints New Chief Financial Officer, Douglas Brown

Dignity Health - Northridge Hospital Medical Center (NHMC) is pleased to announce the appointment of Douglas Brown as Chief Financial Officer (CFO), effective December 9, 2019. As CFO, Doug will be responsible for overseeing the finance and accounting systems, while ensuring the hospital is operating within budget. Doug previously served as the Controller at Dignity Health – Glendale Memorial Hospital and Health Center (GMHHC), and is looking forward to joining NHMC and remaining a part of Dignity Health.

Doug is a proven leader, who is strategic, collaborative, and committed to excellence. Among his numerous achievements, he played a critical role in long-term financial planning and the implementation of major cost-controlling initiatives for the hospital. Doug has been instrumental in developing strategies that significantly improved the hospital’s revenue, while working with department leaders to reach labor targets and maximize productivity.

Doug holds a master’s degree in business administration, with an emphasis in health care administration, from Loma Linda University, and a bachelor’s degree in history from La Sierra University.
