Cancer Services

At St. Bernardine Medical Center, we treat cancer two ways: with extraordinary skill and with exceptional hope. Recent clinical advancements made in cancer treatment are reason enough for hope, which is why we have a "think positive" approach.

Treatments

The skilled team at St. Bernardine Medical Center treats each form of cancer as aggressively as possible. Our affiliated oncologists work tirelessly alongside radiation therapists, nurses and support staff to give all patients hope for a long and healthy life.

Our range of services includes:

  • Chemotherapy
  • Diagnostic radiology
  • Radiation therapy
  • Surgery

Oncology Services are provided by Vantage Oncology.

Vantage Oncology offers technological advancements that are truly making a difference in the lives of people living with cancer. With breakthrough cancer treatments, St. Bernardine Medical Center and Vantage are working to win the war against cancer. And we're raising a flag of hope.

Therapy

You probably know about radiation therapy and chemotherapy, but some of the most innovative cancer treatments used today involve immune therapies/vaccines and gene testing.

We also offer diagnostic radiology (mammography, MRI, multi-slice CT, PET, ultrasound and nuclear medicine) to be proactive in catching the disease before it's a problem as well as for those who are potentially at higher risk for cancer.

And because dealing with cancer can be a life-altering experience, St. Bernardine Medical Center offers support groups so that you and your family can spend time with other people who understand exactly what you are going through. We believe that it is imperative to talk about your feelings and to share your hopes. It is a necessary complement to cancer treatment.

St. Bernardine Medical Center's Cancer Program is accredited by the Commission on Cancer. Read more about our clinically advanced treatments as well as the support services offered to our patients and families. The Annual Cancer Report introduces our Cancer Committee members.

If you or a loved one has been diagnosed with cancer, contact St. Bernardine Medical Center. We treat you with compassion as we treat your cancer as aggressively as possible.
