To help get the two of you started the right way and make breast–feeding a positive experience, St. Bernardine Medical Center’s caring staff is here to help.
Congratulations on the newest addition to your family and on your decision to breastfeed. It’s one of the best decisions you can make for the health of your new baby, now and throughout his or her lifetime.
If you need assistance, our consultants are available to provide free support to all breastfeeding mothers. No experiences, struggles and triumphs with other breastfeeding mothers in a warm and welcoming environment.
Breastfeeding support group
Dignity Health’s “Mothers Helping Mothers” breastfeeding support group offers moms the opportunity to share their experiences, struggles and triumphs with other breastfeeding mothers in a warm and welcoming environment.
- Meets every Thursday at 1 pm

Lactation consultants and educators at the Baby & Family Center are available to provide support to new parents on a walk-in basis during the following hours:

The Baby & Family Center is located on the hospital campus behind the main parking structure. Please call ahead if you need support outside of the walk-in hours listed above.

- Colon Cancer Support Group | 3rd & 4th Tuesday
- Embracing Motherhood Support Group | 1st & 3rd Thursday from 12:30-1:30pm
