The Heart Center at Glendale Memorial Hospital was founded to serve the needs of individuals and families in Glendale and nearby communities. Established in 1992, the cardiovascular program integrates a full range of services including: education; screenings; diagnosis; interventions; surgery; electrophysiology; rehabilitation; and clinical research. Since its inception, the Heart Center has garnered multiple accolades and Glendale Memorial was among the first in the region to secure accreditation for the Glendale Memorial Chest Pain Center.
The Heart Center's comprehensive programs range from prevention and chronic disease management including Peripheral Vascular Disease (PVD) to award-winning emergency services including the Healthgrades Five-star recipient for Treatment of Heart Attack - 4 years in a row and our designation as a STEMI Receiving Center.
The Heart Center at Glendale Memorial has three state-of-the art interventional and diagnostic cardiac and peripheral catheterization laboratories for angiograms, angioplasties, and stent placements. We have a dedicated electrophysiology program for treating irregular heartbeats and atrial fibrillation. Additionally, our safe and welcoming rehabilitation program is among the only to offer in-patient and out-patient in the area.
The Heart Center participates in various programs and reporting agencies to evaluate and verify quality, efficiency and effectiveness.
