Current Visitor Restrictions & Guidelines

Our number one priority is to keep our patients, visitors, and hospital community safe.

To help prevent the transmission of the COVID-19 we are modifying the visitation guidelines in order to protect patients, visitors, caregivers, and the community in the wake of the spike in cases in LA County, California, and across the United States. These precautions are in alignment with, but not limited to, the guidelines and recommendations from the California Department of Public Health, the CDC, and LA County.

Inpatient and outpatient visitation will be permitted as outlined below and anyone entering the hospital will be screened upon arrival and must wear a mask or face covering at all times.  Visitors bring items into the hospital for patients, but only those that support activities of daily living, i.e. eye glasses, dentures, hearing aids, assistive devices, and cell phones/chargers.

Visitation will be allowed under the following circumstances:

To accommodate families for patients who are at the end of life and transition is eminent this warrants greater flexibility. As a result, the department manager/director or charge nurse will communicate to the front desk staff the need to accommodate visitation changes. Visitation may not include large groups, visitors may not stay overnight and all infection control practices must be followed. Unless there is direct communication from the identified department leaders all previously listed guidelines identified below shall remain in effect.

Additionally, when family members/support person are accompanying a patient receiving care or services in the facility they should be permitted to utilize the restrooms in the main lobby.
